Hello everyone, 

My name is Bright Benson, and it is my honour to welcome you to Timeless Gospel.

This blog is designed, as inspired in my heart by God, to teach the immutable counsel of the gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed by the Holy Spirit, in all of its truth, power and glory, making it as relevant and applicable in our lives today, as it has always been and forever will be.

You know, one of the major reasons why God the Father chooses to reveal Himself to us is to strengthen our spiritual relationship with Him. From the creation of Adam in the Garden of Eden, to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the heart of a loving God Who wants a relationship with you is made known. Think about it, God the creator of the world, all-knowing, all-powerful, self-sufficient, just can’t get over you! Now that’s simply mind-blowing.

Today you too can bask in the warmth of such an amazing, undeserved love that God the Father offers, and that love is in His Son Jesus Christ [John 3¹⁶; Romans 5⁸]. Jesus Christ is the revelation of not just the love of God towards mankind; He is the brightness of God’s glory and the express revelation of the true nature of God [John 14^8-11]. 

This same Jesus is the central theme of the Bible; though concealed in the Old Testament, He is revealed in the New Testament to shift us from religion to relationship. Every time Jesus is concealed in our pulpits, sermons and Churches, we leave the people with nothing but religion, but when He is revealed to us by the Spirit of truth we walk in relationship.  If you are therefore not in a functional relationship with Jesus Christ, you are missing the whole point of Christianity.

Brace yourself; make room in your heart to receive the overwhelming love of God. No matter how far you've gone and how deep your pain is, it really doesn't matter how hopeless it may seem, no one is beyond the reach of God’s love. You too can enjoy God’s best for your life today.  Friends, this is the good news, this is the gospel of Jesus Christ.
